Social Media for Business: How to effectively develop and integrate a Social Media program into your business.

In this 3 hour session, Olivier Blanchard and Scott Gould will be teaching participants how to effectively build, integrate, manage and measure social media programs for SMEs.

A collaborative people-to-people session will then take the focussed training on the 4 precepts of Social Media programs and open them up to discussion and refinement from individuals unique experiences.

This is training in high-level Social Media strategy - less about what tools to use, and more about the tactics and strategies.

This hands-on strategy and “how to” course is ideal for:

1. Agencies planning to start developing SM campaigns for their clients

2. SMEs who need to implement a strategic approach for their existing SM practice.

3. Business managers struggling with the “how” of building and managing social media programs.

You will come away with:

1. A thorough understand of Social Media strategy frameworks

2. Practical next steps to integrate these frameworks into your organisation

3. Guidelines and best practices for managing Social Media Engagement

4. Valuable insight on drawing the correct measurements for your organisation

In Detail

Building upon the foundations from Like Minds 09, this 3 hour session provides frameworks, models, and will explain:

1. How to develop a social media program and/or campaign (Strategic Discussion)

2. How to integrate such a program with an organisation’s existing structure (Operational discussion)

About Like Minds

Like Minds has quickly become a movement representing new thinking and an open source approach to conferencing, celebrating innovation and guiding collaboration. Our inaugural conference in October 2009, organsied and marketed purely through Social Media, saw 200 attendees, over 500 online viewers, and over 200,000 Twitter users engage in the discussion of ‘Measuring Social Media’.

Like Minds Immersive is a intimate and targeted consultation that immerses participants in the "how" of innovations like Social Media and people-to-people, with training provided by industry experts and thought leaders.

Like Minds 2010 will move beyond Social Media program measurement to focus on the deeper cultural and economic change being ushered by the evolution of social business and the emerging P2P (people-to-people) organizational model.
